A$AP Rocky was definitely “wild all night” ahead of his appearance at the 2023 Met Gala.
Rapper “Fashion Killa” Twitter took Tuesday to issue an apology to a young woman named Maddy he had trampled on to jump a railing at New York City’s Carlyle Hotel before attending fashion’s biggest night.
“LOL MY FAULT $WEETHEART,” he tweeted in response to a selfie the shocked fan took shortly after the viral incident.
The Grammy nominee — who will soon welcome his second child with girlfriend, Rihanna — followed Madi on Twitter, digitally offering an olive branch.
The shocking moment unfolded hours before the Met Gala on Monday as Maddy and several other fans waited for the stars to show up in their designer strands.
Instead of walking into the luxury hotel through the front entrance like other celebrities, Rocky somehow found himself among the fans, outside the steel fence.

Footage then shows Rocky jumping over the barrier, using Maddy’s face and shoulder as a prop. The shocked girl’s glasses are removed in the process.
Then Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Meyers, turns to the crowd and pulls down his hoodie, revealing his identity to everyone as they shout his name.
After the accident, Maddie Share a selfie — with her prescription glasses back on — with the caption, “ASAP Rocky literally jumped on top of me.”
She also detailed what happened, tweeting that the hip-hop star “tapped my shoulder and was like ‘Babe, I need to get over him and I said ‘no’ and then he just shoved him.”
Rocky later hit the Met Gala carpet late fashionably with his pregnant girlfriend, who stunned in a white Valentino gown with a floral cape and sunglasses adorned with false eyelashes.
The Harlem native, on the other hand, wore a Gucci suit jacket and plaid kilt layered over a pair of bedazzled jeans.
Then the couple — who are parents to an 11-month-old son — changed clothes and hit the Remedy Diner in New York City, where they were seen leaving early Tuesday.
