Dion announced in December that she has an incurable neurological condition that causes stiffness and muscle spasms. She said at the time that the medical disorder made it difficult for her to walk and sing.
She was due to resume the rest of her European tour, which would have included 42 shows in cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, London and Berlin, in August through April 2024. Dion had previously performed 52 concerts before the tour was halted in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
“We have every hope that one day soon Celine will be able to come to all these cities in Europe to perform for her incredible audiences, but that time simply isn’t right now,” said a press release published by Dion.
