Outside linebacker Cameron Goode and quarterback Skylar Thomson have signed their rookie contracts, the Dolphins announced Friday morning, finalizing the seventh-rounders’ deals ahead of rookie minicamp set to begin later Friday.

Under the rookie wage scale in the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement, the total value of Goode’s four-year contract will be about $3.7 million, including a $113,000 signing bonus, according to Spotrac. The total value of Thompson’s four-year contract will be about $3.7 million, including an $82,000 signing bonus.

Goode, the No. 224 overall pick out of California, recorded 45 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks in the 2021 season, earning second-team All-Pac-12 honors. A five-year player, Goode recorded 172 tackles and 20.5 sacks during his college career. His 20.5 sacks are 24th most in the conference since the Pac-10 became the Pac-12 in 2005.

Thompson, the No. 247 overall out of Kansas State and the Dolphins’ final selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, completed 69.5 percent of his passes for 2,113 yards, 12 touchdowns and four interceptions in the 2021 season. He also rushed for 267 yards and three touchdowns.
