Jason Licht: Bucks eye veteran quarterback who ‘was there doing it’

“There were a couple quarterbacks” on his radar for draft picks last week, Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht said today, but the draft hasn’t caught on until the Bucs get one.
Licht added that the QB’s goals “were not necessarily high.”
Licht introduced the insight on WDAE radio and added that the Bucs would now move on to add the veteran QB.
“At the moment we love the competition that’s going on with Baker (Mayfield) and Kyle (Track), we couldn’t be happier with the way it’s going now, just both of them getting ready to go into training camp,” said Licht.
“…But we have a plan. We would probably like to bring in a vet. Just somebody who’s done that and can be in that room with them, not necessarily someone who we think is going to take over the competition. But somebody can just add to that room. We’ve got a few options that we’re putting in consedration “.
