Teyana Taylor hit the Met Gala 2023 red carpet on Monday in a snug Thom Browne bodysuit, and it looks like she had to hop up the steps of the museum.
In a viral TikTok posted by creator @alaskacore, the triple threat can be seen leaping up the Met stairs in a Karl Lagerfeld-inspired tweed jacket and low-slung maxi skirt.
The latter was tightly tied on both sides, which impeded Taylor’s movement.
“You better jump a queen,” a TikToker captioned the hilarious clip, describing the moment as a “non-animated send-up.”
“This is so vegan,” one commenter quipped, while another compared Taylor to “that lamp in the Pixar movies.”
“I have to pee!” Taylor, 32 years old Admitted to Essence — which also captured footage of the star struggling up the steps — as she reached the top.
“I wish the kangaroo bag wouldn’t come out. But you know, when you get in there and you’re nervous, you’re standing up, I think I let it go a little bit,” the dancer joked.
Despite her tight ensemble, Taylor was still having a good time at the Met Gala, even smuggling her very own Chick-Fil-A snack.
Pusha T shared the star’s takeaway Instagram Story, writing, “teyanataylor is embarrassing me” and joking, “I want it off me…”
