While Met Gala guests dined on bowls of gourmet pea soup, Teyana Taylor was enjoying a different kind of fare at the A-list event — a plate full of Chick-fil-A that she brought herself.
Teyana, 32, was called out by tablemate Pusha T, 45, who joked that she was ’embarrassing’ him for bringing junk food to the exclusive party.

Even Usher, 44, tried to step in — the R&B artist laughed at the sight of Teyana munching on her fast food.

Teyana appears to tease Pusha for her various dishes as she compares her partially consumed bowl of pea soup to her own dinner.
“It’s two types of people,” she wrote, sobbing from the laughing emoji.
Monday night’s theme was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, and the menu was curated to honor the late fashion designer.
“This menu is designed to pay homage to the late fashion icon and honor his favorite foods and his cosmopolitan flair,” Olivier Cheng, special events department and caterer at Vogue, told the fashion writers.
These dishes were created to maintain seasonality while using some of his favorite ingredients, like King salmon. “There’s a sophisticated elegance to these pairs, we feel he would have really enjoyed,” said Olivier.
The dinner menu consisted of “chilled spring pea soup with baby vegetables, fresh lemon cream, and snow truffle, followed by Ōra King salmon with greens, asparagus, pickled strawberries, and radishes—all served on old china,” Vogue reports.
The 2023 Met Gala is back at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday night.
