It’s the heart of Hollywood that’s been making waves in the acting world after receiving its first Academy Award nomination recently.

But now, the actor in question could be scratching the heads of his fans after giving them their first glimpse of his latest role.

In a new teaser for his new movie that was released on Tuesday, the American entertainer can be seen with a bald head and shaved eyebrows making him almost unrecognizable.

It’s clear from his terrifying look that he’s going to play the villain in the new sci-fi project – but can you guess who he is?

Who is this? He is one of the Hollywood stars who is making waves in the acting world after receiving his first Academy Award nomination recently, and he will be portraying a villain in an upcoming science fiction epic.

It’s Austin Butler, who’s been seen in a new teaser for Dune: Part Two.

Of course, fans fell in love with Austin for his role as Elvis Presley in the Baz Luhrmann biopic – but that’s a different beast altogether, as he plays the villainous Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in the sci-fi sequel.

The teaser trailer released on Tuesday begins with an unidentified member of the Fremen (a subculture of humans descended from Zensunni Wanderers) walking into sand dunes and placing a stun device, used to attract sandworms, on the ground.

After the device starts working, the individual hurries back to the dunes before the faces of several characters appear, including Gurney Halleck, Lady Jessica, and Feyd-Rautha.

The book centers on Atreides, who relocates to the desert planet Arrakis and becomes the leader of its native inhabitants as they wage war for control of their world.

A large-scale film adaptation led by Alejandro Jodorowsky, known for directing such features as El Topo and The Holy Mountain, was developed in the mid-1970s, though the project eventually fell apart.
