Young mom makes Wal-Mart weird uncomfortable by saying baby was flirting with her:

A young mother shopping at Walmart was surprised by a stranger’s sexual comment towards her child, and TikTokers applaud how she handled it.

Brooklynn, known on TikTok as yourfriendthewitch, garnered more than 2 million views, 391,000 likes, and 3,300 comments when she shared this uncomfortable encounter with her account.

Now, much like a complete stranger who shamed his mom for shopping for baby formula at Walmart, Brooklyn’s story makes TikTokers reflect on the daring of some people.

According to Brooklyn, she and her daughter, Ovie, were walking the aisles of a Walmart when an older woman approached them.

“Oh my God, your son is flirting with me,” Brooklyn Koss, mimicking the stranger.

Gross. Side eye. Gross. Brooklyn said to the camera.

“So I looked directly at my daughter and said, ‘Oh! I didn’t know you were part of the LGBTQ+ community…”

Then the woman in Brooklyn frowned and said angrily, “Well next time you should put a bow on it.”

However, according to Brooklynn’s video caption, her anger wasn’t over the woman’s misbehavior with her child — it was her accusation of being a flirt.

yourfriendthewitch isn’t the only TikToker making references to pedophilia.

TikTok user @one.ina.millie.on created a tongue-in-cheek series dedicated to all the inappropriate people you encounter online.

“Dad works the pole so mommy doesn’t have to” and “lock up your daughters” are just a few of the weird designs I’ve come across.

“I feel bad when BB says a kid is flirting with me”

Judging by her TikTok comments, Brooklynn isn’t the only parent experiencing bizarre sexual remarks directed at their children.

User @kiefyog commented: “No if anyone says my LITERAL BABY CHILD flirts with them I will ask Metass ‘Why do you think of my child that way? “.

“You are better than me. An old man who was visiting my neighbour said to me: ‘Your daughter is so sweet. Do you want to come home with me?’” sweeterthanpeaches wrote.

“My son smiles and waves at everyone and we always get ‘he’s joking’ and I’m correcting him saying ‘he’s not a good judge of character yet,'” @mommamcphate said.

A friend of mine who’s a mom said, “You better save it for me!” ’ And I said ‘If you do this for a long time… ‘I don’t know why you don’t like me,’” @kelseylizarraga commented.

“It always bothers me a lot when people say kids are flirting. They don’t even know what that is,” @bysmallandsimple_things wrote.

@asapyammy commented, “It feels flattering when people at my job say baby flirts with me… Like babies, I wear contrasting colors so they can see me really well LMAO.”

“Where do people get the audacity to say things like that, oh my God?” @ihearttsweaterz commented.

Hopefully, thanks to the new generation of parents, these outdated perspectives on children — and all the weird theories that come with them — will fade away.
